West Linn Lions Girls Soccer 1-1 Tigard

A hard-fought Three Rivers League (6A) girls soccer match ended level Tuesday night in West Linn, Oregon, as West Linn and Tigard played to a 1-1 draw at home. The result moves the Lions to 4-4-3 on the season and 1-0 in conference play, a solid start to league competition as the postseason picture begins to take shape. West Linn held a share of the points against a Tigard side that made the trip tough from start to finish, and the Lions showed enough resolve to avoid a defeat that could have hurt their standing early in league play. With the Three Rivers League schedule now underway, West Linn will need to build on this momentum and find a way to turn draws into wins if they hope to climb the standings. The Lions return to action later this week, looking to grab their first conference victory and keep pace in what promises to be a competitive 6A race.
