West Linn Lions Girls Soccer 7-2 David Douglas

West Linn's girls soccer team turned Halloween into a treat for home fans Saturday, routing David Douglas 7-2 in a non-league matchup at West Linn, Oregon. The Lions, who compete in the 6A Three Rivers League, poured in seven goals to leave little doubt about the outcome from early on. The victory improves West Linn to 8-4-4 overall on the season. David Douglas had no answer for a Lions attack that consistently created chances and finished them with authority, while the West Linn defense limited damage despite allowing two goals. The Lions have shown an ability to generate offense in bunches, and Saturday's performance was a strong reminder of that firepower heading into the postseason stretch. West Linn enters this week having won its most recent outing and looking to carry that momentum forward. With the fall playoff picture beginning to take shape across the state, the Lions will look to build on this performance and close the regular season strong.
