Scappoose Indians Girls Volleyball 3-2 Banks

A hard-fought five-set battle ended in Scappoose's favor Tuesday night, as the Indians topped Banks 3-2 in 4A-1 Cowapa League girls volleyball action at home in Scappoose, Oregon. The victory moves Scappoose to 9-8 overall and 3-5 in league play.

Needing every bit of their home crowd's energy, the Indians gutted out a fifth-set victory after the Braves pushed the match to its limit. Going the full five sets speaks to the competitiveness both programs bring to the floor, and Scappoose showed enough resolve down the stretch to secure the win when it mattered most.

The result is a meaningful one for a squad that entered the night at 8-8, sitting in the back half of the league standings. A conference win provides a boost of confidence and keeps Scappoose's postseason positioning conversation alive as the Cowapa League schedule winds toward its conclusion.

The Indians will look to build on this momentum when they return to action later this week.
