Scappoose Indians Girls Volleyball 0-3 Valley Catholic

Valley Catholic handed Scappoose a 3-0 defeat in Northwest Oregon Conference (5A) girls volleyball action Thursday evening, dropping the Indians to 8-8 on the season. Scappoose made the trip from Scappoose, Oregon, to face the Valiants on the road, but could not find answers in any of the three sets against a Valley Catholic squad that controlled the match from start to finish. The loss leaves Scappoose at 2-5 in conference play, a tough spot with the postseason window drawing closer. Road matches against established programs like Valley Catholic present a stern test, and Thursday's result reflects the challenges this young squad has navigated throughout a competitive fall schedule. The Indians split their first 15 matches before tonight's setback, showing they are capable of competing when things click. Scappoose will need to regroup quickly and find consistency in the remaining league games to strengthen their postseason case. The team returns home next week looking to reverse the momentum.
