West Linn Lions Football 70-45 Oregon City

Seventy points on the road will turn heads anywhere, and West Linn's football team delivered exactly that Friday night, beating Oregon City 70-45 in a high-scoring league contest played in Oregon City, Oregon. The Lions improved to 7-2 overall and 4-1 in conference play with the victory, keeping their postseason positioning very much alive heading into the final stretch of the regular season. The combined 115 points made for a breathless evening, with West Linn's offense operating at a level that Oregon City simply could not match despite the Pioneers' own 45-point output. Both sidelines generated plenty of action, but the Lions found enough separation to walk away with a comfortable 25-point margin in a game that felt anything but comfortable to watch. West Linn enters the final weeks of the 2026 regular season with momentum and confidence, knowing a strong finish in league play could mean a favorable first-round playoff draw. The Lions will look to carry this offensive rhythm into next week.
