West Linn Lions Football 42-27 Central Catholic

West Linn's football team handed Central Catholic a 42-27 defeat Friday night in West Linn, Oregon, delivering a convincing non-league victory that strengthens the Lions' momentum heading into the postseason. West Linn controlled the contest throughout, building enough of a cushion to withstand any late push from the Rams and secure the 15-point final margin. The win moves West Linn to 8-2 on the season, a strong overall record that reflects a team playing with confidence and consistency at the right time of year. Central Catholic, always a formidable program, made things competitive at 27 points, but the Lions' offense proved too much to contain. For a West Linn squad that has steadily built its resume through a challenging schedule, Friday's performance was another encouraging sign. The Lions will look to carry this energy forward as playoff positioning and bracket seeding come into full focus over the coming days.
