Sherwood Bowmen Boys Soccer 1-2 Forest Grove

Forest Grove edged Sherwood 2-1 in a Pacific Conference (6A) boys soccer match Thursday evening, handing the Bowmen from Sherwood, Oregon a road defeat that drops their overall record to 4-7-1 on the season. The Vikings held home advantage and made it count, securing the narrow victory in what figures to have been a tightly contested league affair. Sherwood's lone goal kept the match competitive, but Forest Grove's two-goal effort proved to be just enough to close things out. The loss moves Sherwood to 2-1 in conference play, a mark that still keeps them in a workable position within the Pacific Conference standings despite the overall record sitting below the .500 mark. The Bowmen will need to string together wins in the remaining weeks of the regular season to build any postseason momentum. Sherwood fans will be watching closely as the team looks to regroup and find consistency heading into the final stretch of the 2026 fall schedule.
