Sherwood Bowmen Boys Soccer 2-2 Newberg

A road trip to Newberg ended in a 2-2 draw Tuesday as Sherwood boys soccer split the points in a 6A-3 Pacific Conference league match. The Bowmen, representing Sherwood, Oregon, picked up a valuable share of the result against the Tigers to move to 4-7-2 on the season and 2-1 in conference play.

Neither side could find a decisive third goal, leaving both teams to settle for the tie on a chilly October evening in Newberg. For Sherwood, the draw snaps what had been a difficult stretch and gives the program some momentum heading into the final weeks of the regular season. Sitting at 2-1 in the Pacific Conference, the Bowmen remain in the mix for a competitive postseason push if they can build on this result.

Sherwood will look to carry the confidence from Tuesday's effort into upcoming league action, where every point on the table will matter down the stretch of the 2026 fall campaign.
