Nelson Hawks Girls Soccer 6-1 Reynolds

A dominant six-goal performance lifted Nelson girls soccer to a 6-1 victory over Reynolds on Thursday evening in Happy Valley, Oregon, in Mt. Hood Conference (6A) league action. The Eagles controlled the match from start to finish, turning a home contest into a statement win that moves their overall record to 9-2-1 on the season and 2-2 in conference play. Coming in at 8-2-1, Nelson needed a strong showing to stay competitive in the league standings, and the team delivered in convincing fashion. The five-goal margin was a testament to sustained pressure and finishing efficiency against a Reynolds side that struggled to generate consistent chances. The lone Reynolds goal kept the shutout out of reach, but it did little to slow Nelson's momentum as the Eagles continued to push forward throughout. With the conference race still very much alive, Nelson will look to build on this performance and string together more wins as the postseason window approaches.
