Liberty Falcons Boys Soccer 3-1 Hillsboro

Liberty boys soccer picked up a timely road victory Tuesday, beating Hillsboro 3-1 in a 5A-2 Greater Metro Conference league match played in Hillsboro, Oregon. The Falcons controlled enough of the contest to pull away for the win, scoring three goals against a Hillsboro side that could only answer once. The result moves Liberty to 5-7 overall and 2-2 in conference play, a meaningful step forward for a group that entered the evening sitting at 4-7 on the season. Winning on the road in league play carries real weight this late in the fall, and Liberty earned every point of it Tuesday. The Falcons showed they can compete and finish against conference opponents, which is exactly the kind of confidence a team needs heading into the final stretch of the regular season. Liberty will look to build on this momentum as the schedule winds down and postseason positioning comes into focus.
