Ida B. Wells Guardians Football 50-20 Franklin

Ida B. Wells made a statement on the road Thursday night, rolling past Franklin 50-20 in a Portland Interscholastic League (6A) football matchup played in Portland, Oregon. The Wolves were dominant from start to finish, piling up 50 points against a Franklin squad that had no answer for the visiting offense. The lopsided margin left little doubt about which team controlled the line of scrimmage and the tempo of the game. With the victory, Ida B. Wells improves to 6-0 overall and 5-0 in league play, standing alone as one of the PIL's last remaining unbeaten teams heading into the heart of the conference schedule. Picking up a road win by 30 points only adds to the credibility of this undefeated run. The Wolves have now won six consecutive games, and the challenge only grows from here as playoff positioning begins to take shape. Ida B. Wells will look to keep the momentum going next week.
