Benson Polytechnic Techmen Boys Soccer 0-4 Ida B. Wells

Ida B. Wells handed Benson Polytechnic a 4-0 defeat in boys soccer on Thursday evening in Portland, Oregon, dropping the Techsters to 2-11 overall in PIL (6A) competition. The shutout loss was a tough result for Benson at home, where the Techsters were looking to pick up their first conference win of the season. Ida B. Wells controlled the match from the opening whistle, finding the back of the net four times while keeping Benson off the scoreboard entirely. The Techsters have now gone 0-6 in league play, making every remaining conference game a critical opportunity to show progress before the postseason cutoff. Despite the difficult stretch, the young Benson squad has continued to compete and gain valuable experience against PIL opponents. The Techsters will look to regroup quickly and bring renewed energy into their next matchup. Every game remaining is a chance to build confidence and finish the season on a stronger note.
