Hillsboro Spartans Girls Soccer 0-3 La Salle Prep

La Salle Prep shut out Hillsboro 3-0 on Tuesday in a 5A-2 Greater Metro Conference girls soccer match played in Milwaukie, leaving the Spartans from Hillsboro, Oregon, searching for answers at a critical stretch of the season. La Salle Prep controlled the match throughout, finding the back of the net three times while keeping Hillsboro off the scoresheet entirely. The Spartans had little answer for the Falcons' attack in what turned into a lopsided road result. The loss drops Hillsboro to 3-6-5 overall and 1-2 in conference play, a standing that puts pressure on the remaining league schedule with the postseason picture coming into sharper focus. Tuesday's shutout was a tough reminder of the gap the Spartans need to close against the conference's stronger programs. Hillsboro will look to bounce back and find some offensive momentum in their next outing, hoping a home environment or a favorable matchup can help them string together a result before the regular season closes out.
