Glencoe Crimson Tide Softball 12-13 McMinnville

A wild back-and-forth battle saw Glencoe come up just short against McMinnville, falling 13-12 in a softball slugfest Thursday evening. The Crimson Tide watched a high-scoring affair slip away in the final innings despite matching their hosts nearly run for run throughout the contest.

Both offenses were firing on all cylinders in what became one of the most entertaining games of the spring season. Glencoe's bats stayed hot all night, but McMinnville managed to squeeze out the narrow victory on their home diamond.

The loss drops the Crimson Tide to 8-3 overall and 5-3 in conference play, though they remain well-positioned in league standings. With explosive offensive potential clearly on display, Glencoe showed they can compete with anyone when the bats are working.
