De La Salle Knights Boys Soccer 3-0 Clatskanie / Rainier

A clean sheet and three goals gave De La Salle North Catholic a 3-0 boys soccer victory over Clatskanie/Rainier on Thursday evening in Portland, Oregon, a much-needed Lewis & Clark League (3A) win for the Knights. The shutout was a statement effort from a squad that came into the match looking to find its footing after a slow start to the season. Holding an opponent scoreless in league play is no small feat, and the Knights defense delivered when it mattered most. The offense matched that energy, converting three times to give head coach and players alike something to build on. De La Salle North Catholic improves to 2-5 overall and 1-2 in league play with the result. The road ahead in the Lewis & Clark League remains challenging, but Thursday's performance shows the Knights are capable of competing at this level. The team will look to carry this momentum into their next league match and continue climbing the standings before the postseason window closes.
