David Douglas Scots Girls Soccer 0-7 Central Catholic

Central Catholic dominated from the opening whistle Tuesday, shutting out David Douglas 7-0 in a Mt. Hood Conference (6A) girls soccer match played at David Douglas High School in Portland, Oregon. The Scots fell to 2-8-2 overall and 0-2 in league play after absorbing the lopsided defeat on their home pitch. Central Catholic's attack proved relentless, piling up seven goals against a David Douglas side that has struggled to find consistency through a difficult fall campaign. For the Scots, the margin reflects a tough night against one of the conference's stronger programs, but the focus now turns to what remains on the schedule. David Douglas will need to regroup quickly and find ways to be more competitive in league play as the season winds toward its conclusion. Every remaining match represents a chance to build confidence and finish the year on a stronger note.
