Canby Cougars Girls Volleyball 0-3 Woodburn

Woodburn handed Canby a 3-0 defeat in girls volleyball Tuesday evening, as the Bulldogs dropped a non-league home match at Canby High School in Canby, Oregon. The 5A-2 Greater Metro Conference program hosted Woodburn, but the visitors controlled the match from start to finish, taking all three sets to hand Canby the sweep. The result moves Canby to 5-11 on the season as the program navigates a challenging stretch of fall play. Without a detailed box score available, individual standout performances remain unclear, but the three-set loss reflects a night where Woodburn dictated the tempo throughout. Non-league matchups like this one offer valuable exposure to outside competition, and the lessons from a difficult evening on the home floor can still prove useful heading into the final stretch of the season. Canby will look to regroup and find momentum in upcoming contests as the 2026 fall campaign winds down.
