Wilsonville Wildcats Football 47-28 Liberty

Wilsonville dominated Liberty 47-28 in a Northwest Oregon Conference (5A) football game Friday night in Wilsonville, Oregon, improving to 5-2 overall and a spotless 3-0 in league play. The Wildcats put together one of their most complete offensive performances of the season, piling up 47 points against a Liberty squad that came in hoping to slow them down. The margin of victory tells a clear story. Wilsonville controlled the game in all three phases, and the final score reflects a team firing on all cylinders at the right time of year. Liberty made things interesting at times, cutting into the lead and finishing with 28 points of their own, but the Wildcats answered every push and kept the game firmly in hand. At 3-0 in conference, Wilsonville has put themselves in an excellent position heading into the final weeks of the regular season. The Wildcats will look to carry this momentum into next week as they push for a league title and a strong postseason seeding.
