Westview Wildcats Girls Soccer 2-2 Mountainside

A second-half equalizer secured a 2-2 tie for Westview girls soccer against Mountainside on Monday, splitting the points in a Metro League (6A) contest played in Beaverton, Oregon. Neither side could claim a decisive edge as the two squads traded goals and left the pitch without a winner. The result moves Westview to 6-2-2 on the season, preserving a strong overall mark heading into the heart of league play. With conference standings still taking shape, the Wildcats will look at this draw as a moment to sharpen details rather than a setback, given the quality of the opponent. Mountainside brought a competitive effort and earned every bit of the tie, making this one of the more evenly matched games Westview has faced this fall. The Wildcats return to action later this week, looking to convert close results into victories as the Metro League race intensifies and postseason positioning begins to matter.
