West Linn Lions Girls Volleyball 3-1 Oregon City

West Linn's girls volleyball team picked up a convincing road win Thursday, defeating Oregon City 3-1 in non-league action. The Lions, based in West Linn, Oregon, and competing in the Three Rivers League (6A), improved to 6-0 on the season with the victory.

Traveling to face the Pioneers presented a genuine test for West Linn, and the Lions answered by taking three of four sets on the night. Oregon City captured one set to make things competitive, but West Linn ultimately controlled the match and closed it out on the road, which is never an easy task in high school volleyball.

The win keeps West Linn undefeated through six matches and adds valuable experience against outside competition before league play intensifies. Non-league results like this one help sharpen a roster and reveal what still needs work before the standings begin to matter most.

West Linn will look to carry that momentum forward as the schedule continues to build toward Three Rivers League competition.
