West Linn Lions Boys Soccer 2-1 Oregon City

A hard-fought 2-1 road victory gave the West Linn boys soccer program another statement result Tuesday night, as the Lions traveled to Oregon City and came away with three crucial Three Rivers League (6A) points. West Linn, based in West Linn, Oregon, improved to 6-3-2 overall and 2-0 in league play with the win. Oregon City made things difficult all evening, pulling within one goal and keeping the Lions honest until the final whistle. Earning a result away from home in league competition is never easy, and West Linn demonstrated the kind of resilience that can define a postseason push. The Lions entered the match at 5-3-2 and have now won back-to-back league contests to open conference play without a loss, a strong foundation heading into the heart of the schedule. West Linn will look to keep that momentum rolling when they return to action later this week.
