West Linn Lions Boys Soccer 1-1 Tigard

A road trip to Tigard ended in a 1-1 draw Tuesday as West Linn boys soccer split the points in a Three Rivers League (6A) contest. The Lions, based in West Linn, Oregon, came away with a share of the result against a tough Tigard side, keeping their unbeaten mark intact in conference play.

The deadlock moves West Linn to 6-3-3 overall on the season and 2-0 in league play, a strong position heading deeper into the fall schedule. Holding Tigard on the road to just one goal speaks to the defensive discipline the Lions have shown through a competitive stretch of games.

With league play now underway in earnest, every point matters in the Three Rivers League standings. West Linn's unbeaten conference record gives the program a solid foundation to build on as postseason positioning comes into sharper focus over the coming weeks. The Lions return to action next with an opportunity to protect that unblemished league mark.
