Valley Catholic Valiants Boys Soccer 2-0 Banks

Valley Catholic kept its unbeaten run intact Wednesday, shutting out Banks 2-0 in a Lewis & Clark League (3A) boys soccer match at home in Beaverton, Oregon. The Valiants controlled the contest from start to finish, holding the Braves scoreless and securing their third consecutive league win of the fall. With no detailed box score available, the clean sheet speaks for itself, as Valley Catholic's defense continued to be one of the sturdier units in the league this season. The result moves the Valiants to 7-0-1 overall and 3-0 in conference play, keeping them firmly positioned at the top of the Lewis & Clark League standings. Banks came in as a competitive league opponent, making the shutout all the more meaningful for a Valley Catholic side building serious momentum as the postseason approaches. The Valiants will look to carry this form into their next outing and continue pressing toward a league title and a strong playoff seed.
