St. Helens Lions Girls Soccer 0-3 Valley Catholic

Valley Catholic handed St. Helens a 3-0 defeat in girls soccer Tuesday evening, leaving the Lions searching for their first win of the fall. The game was played at home in St. Helens, Oregon, where the Northwest Oregon Conference (5A) program has been working to find its footing through a difficult early stretch of the 2026 season.

The Vaqueros controlled the match from start to finish, finishing with three unanswered goals while St. Helens was unable to break through on the offensive end. Valley Catholic, a perennial force in the Portland Metro area, proved to be a tough test for a Lions squad still building chemistry this season.
