West Linn Lions Boys Soccer 0-1 Tualatin

A single goal was all Tualatin needed Thursday night, as the host Tualatin Wolves handed West Linn a 1-0 boys soccer defeat in Three Rivers League (6A) play. The Lions, based in West Linn, Oregon, made the road trip but could not find an answer on the scoreboard. West Linn entered the match at 6-3-3 overall and carrying momentum from a competitive stretch of play, but Tualatin's lone goal proved to be the difference in a tight, low-scoring contest. The shutout loss drops the Lions to 6-4-3 on the season and 2-1 in league play, keeping them in a competitive spot within the Three Rivers League standings. Despite the result, West Linn remains in contention as the postseason picture begins to take shape. The Lions will look to bounce back quickly and protect their league standing in the final weeks of the regular season.
