Tigard Tigers Girls Soccer 1-0 Lake Oswego

A single goal was all Tigard needed Tuesday, as the Tigers claimed a 1-0 girls soccer victory over Lake Oswego to open Three Rivers League (6A) play in Tigard, Oregon. The shutout win gives Tigard a perfect 1-0 mark in conference and improves the program's overall record to 7-0-3 on the season, a run that now includes three months of strong, consistent play heading into the heart of the league schedule. Lake Oswego arrived as a formidable opponent, making the clean sheet all the more meaningful for a Tigers side that has yet to lose a game this fall. Holding a quality program scoreless at home in a league match signals that Tigard's defensive unit is ready for the challenges ahead. With conference play now underway, every result carries added weight in the Three Rivers standings. Tigard will look to carry this momentum forward as league competition intensifies in the coming weeks.
