Tigard Tigers Girls Soccer 5-0 Roosevelt

Tigard shut out Roosevelt 5-0 Tuesday evening in a girls soccer non-league matchup, giving the Tigers a dominant home win to open play at their Tigard, Oregon facility. The Three Rivers League (6A) program wasted little time making a statement, pouring in five goals while keeping a clean sheet against the Roughriders. The lopsided margin reflected a Tigard side that controlled possession and created chances consistently throughout the contest. After opening the 2026 fall season with a draw in their first outing, the Tigers now sit at 1-0-1 and appear to be rounding into form at the right time. Roosevelt had little answer for the Tiger attack, and the shutout speaks well of a Tigard defensive unit that has yet to allow a goal through two outings this year. With Three Rivers League play on the horizon, Tuesday's performance gives the program confidence and momentum heading into what figures to be a competitive stretch of games.
