Tigard Tigers Football 11-51 West Linn

West Linn handed Tigard a tough 51-11 defeat in Friday night high school football action, dropping the Tigers to 4-4 on the season. The game was played on the road in West Linn, far from Tigard, Oregon, where the Tigers faithful were surely tracking the score from home. West Linn controlled the contest from early on, building a commanding lead that Tigard could not overcome. The Lions' offense proved too much for the Tigers' defense to contain, and the scoreboard reflected a difficult night all around. Tigard's lone offensive highlight came in the form of 11 points, showing some resilience in a game that got away early. The loss moves Tigard to 1-3 in conference play, making the path to a league title significantly more challenging. With four regular season games now behind them in league play, the Tigers will need to regroup quickly. Tigard will look to bounce back next week and salvage what remains of a competitive conference schedule.
