Estacada Rangers Girls Volleyball 1-3 The Dalles

The Dalles defeated Estacada 3-1 in a Tri-Valley Conference (4A) girls volleyball match played Wednesday evening in Estacada, Oregon, dropping the Rangers to 4-5 overall and 2-2 in league play. The Dalles controlled the majority of the match, taking three sets against an Estacada squad that showed enough fight to claim one set but could not sustain the momentum needed to turn the tide. The loss is a setback for Estacada as the Rangers work to find consistency in the back half of their conference schedule. Sitting at the midpoint of league play, every match from here carries added weight, and the Rangers will need to tighten up both their serve-receive and transition game to stay competitive in the Tri-Valley standings. Estacada will look to bounce back when they return to action next week, with a chance to regroup and build on the positives from the one set they managed to secure against a tough Dalles squad.
