Westview Wildcats Girls Soccer 2-3 Sunset

Sunset handed Westview a 3-2 defeat Wednesday evening in a Metro League (6A) girls soccer matchup at Westview High School in Beaverton, Oregon, leaving the Wildcats searching for answers in the heart of league play. The loss drops Westview to 7-3-2 overall and 1-1 in conference, a tough result for a team that entered the night with genuine playoff momentum after a strong early-season run. Sunset proved to be the sharper side on the night, finding the net three times to hold off a Westview squad that battled back to make it a two-goal game but could not complete the comeback. The Wildcats showed enough fight to keep this one competitive, and that resilience will matter as the Metro League schedule tightens. Westview will need to regroup quickly and get back on track in conference play. The Wildcats return to action later this week with a chance to respond and keep their postseason hopes firmly intact.
