Sherwood Bowmen Softball 2-6 West Linn

West Linn defeated Sherwood 6-2 in Saturday's non-league softball matchup, handing the Bowmen their fourth loss of the season. The Sherwood, Oregon squad from the Pacific Conference (6A) couldn't quite match West Linn's offensive output in the road contest.

The loss drops Sherwood to 24-4 overall while maintaining their strong 10-1 conference record. Despite the setback, the Bowmen have compiled an impressive campaign with just four defeats through nearly 30 games.

Sherwood managed two runs against West Linn but couldn't generate enough offense to keep pace with the home team's six-run performance. The non-league nature of the game means it won't impact the Bowmen's Pacific Conference standings, where they've been dominant this spring.

With the regular season winding down, Sherwood will look to bounce back from this road loss and continue their strong conference play. The Bowmen's excellent overall record positions them well heading into the final stretch of the 2026 spring campaign.
