Sherwood Bowmen Girls Soccer 3-0 Newberg

Sherwood's girls soccer team posted a clean sheet Tuesday, defeating Newberg 3-0 at home to improve its standing in the 6A-3 Pacific Conference. Sherwood entered the match at 4-6-1 overall and needed a strong performance to build momentum, and the squad delivered with a shutout effort that held Newberg off the scoreboard for the full 80 minutes. The win moves Sherwood to 5-6-1 on the season and a perfect 2-0 in conference play, a promising mark that keeps the team in the conversation as league standings take shape.
