Scappoose Indians Football 50-6 Seaside

Scappoose rolled to a commanding 50-6 football victory Friday night at Seaside, giving the Indians from Scappoose, Oregon a strong early statement in Northwest Oregon Conference (5A) play. The lopsided margin left little doubt about which team controlled the evening from the opening possessions, as Scappoose built an overwhelming advantage and never looked back against the Gulls. The win pushes Scappoose to 4-1 on the season and a perfect 2-0 in conference play, a strong position heading into the heart of league competition. Playing away from home, the Indians handled the coastal road trip without difficulty, piling up points in what became one of their most complete performances of the young season. The 44-point margin of victory speaks to a balanced effort on both sides of the ball. With conference standings tightening across the Northwest Oregon Conference, Scappoose returns home looking to build on this momentum and continue its push toward a postseason berth.
