Scappoose Indians Boys Soccer 3-3 Tillamook / Neah-Kah-Nie

A road trip to Tillamook/Neah-Kah-Nie ended in a 3-3 draw Wednesday for Scappoose boys soccer, as the Indians from Scappoose, Oregon, picked up another point in Northwest Oregon Conference (5A) play. The back-and-forth finish gave Scappoose its third tie of the season and kept the Indians perfect in league competition so far. Scappoose now sits at 2-5-3 overall, but that conference record of 2-0 tells a different story. Through nine games, the Indians have shown a knack for staying in tight matches, and earning a result away from home against a co-op program is no small feat. Matching a three-goal performance on the road reflects some offensive capability the team can build on as the schedule moves deeper into league play. Scappoose will look to carry that conference momentum into their next matchup, with a chance to remain unbeaten in the Northwest Oregon Conference and close the gap in the overall standings.
