Sandy Pioneers Softball 7-3 Nelson

Four runs in the final three innings pushed Sandy past Nelson 7-3 on Tuesday night at home. The softball victory keeps the Pioneers rolling through Mt. Hood Conference (6A) play as they hosted Nelson in Sandy, Oregon.
Sandy built an early lead before Nelson responded to make it competitive through the middle innings. The Pioneers pulled away late, using timely hitting and solid defense to secure the four-run victory.
The win improves Sandy to 12-4 overall and 11-2 in conference play, maintaining their strong position in the Mt. Hood standings. With just a handful of regular season games remaining, the Pioneers continue to build momentum heading into the postseason.
Tuesday's performance demonstrated Sandy's ability to respond when challenged, a quality that will serve them well in the weeks ahead. The Pioneers have established themselves as one of the top teams in the conference this spring.
Sandy will look to continue their strong finish to the regular season as they prepare for upcoming league contests and the approaching playoff picture.
