Roosevelt Roughriders Boys Soccer 1-2 La Salle Prep

La Salle Prep edged Roosevelt 2-1 in boys soccer Monday evening, handing the Roughriders a tough opening-night loss at home in Portland, Oregon. Roosevelt, a Portland Interscholastic League (6A) program, opened its 2026 fall season against the visiting Falcons in a non-league contest that came down to a single goal. Roosevelt found the back of the net once but could not generate the equalizer needed to salvage a result, as La Salle Prep held on for the narrow victory.
