Reynolds Raiders Football 27-41 Clackamas

Clackamas handed Reynolds a 41-27 defeat in Mt. Hood Conference (6A) football on Friday night, dropping the Raiders from Troutdale, Oregon to 3-4 on the season. The Cavaliers controlled the contest from their home field, building enough of a cushion to keep Reynolds from completing a comeback despite the Raiders putting 27 points on the board. The loss pushes Reynolds to 0-2 in conference play, a difficult hole to climb out of as the league schedule tightens heading into the final weeks of the fall season. Reynolds entered the game at 3-3, looking for a signature road win that could shift momentum in the Mt. Hood race, but Clackamas proved too much on their home turf. The Raiders will need to regroup quickly and find answers on both sides of the ball if they hope to finish the conference slate on a strong note. Reynolds returns to action next week with their playoff positioning very much still on the line.
