Reynolds Raiders Boys Soccer 0-1 Gresham

Gresham edged Reynolds 1-0 in a boys soccer matchup Tuesday evening, handing the Raiders a narrow defeat on the road. Reynolds, based in Troutdale, Oregon, and competing in the Mt. Hood Conference (6A), saw its league hopes take a hit with the result. A single goal was all Gresham needed to claim the win, and Reynolds was unable to find an equalizer despite the close scoreline. The loss drops the Raiders to 5-6-2 overall and 2-2 in conference play, leaving them with little margin for error as the postseason picture begins to take shape. Sitting at the midpoint of their league schedule, Reynolds will need to string together consistent performances to position themselves favorably for a playoff run. The Raiders return to action later this week with an opportunity to respond and keep their postseason hopes alive.
