Putnam Kingsmen Girls Soccer 9-1 Parkrose

Rex Putnam's girls soccer team left no doubt Tuesday night, handing host Parkrose a 9-1 defeat in a non-league road contest. The Milwaukie, Oregon-based Huskies, who compete in the 5A-1 Northwest Oregon Conference, poured in goals at a steady clip throughout the match to earn a dominant result away from home. The lopsided margin signaled a team playing with confidence and depth across the lineup, even without a detailed box score to credit individual contributors. The victory moves Rex Putnam to 5-5-1 overall on the season, a meaningful bounce-back result for a squad that had hovered right at the .500 mark heading into the week. The Huskies entered the match at 4-5-1 and responded with one of their most complete performances of the fall. With the postseason approaching, building momentum through performances like this one matters. Rex Putnam will look to carry that energy into upcoming conference play as the 5A-1 Northwest Oregon Conference schedule heats up.
