Portland Christian Royals Girls Volleyball 3-0 East Linn Christian

Portland Christian swept East Linn Christian 3-0 Wednesday evening in a non-league girls volleyball match at home in Portland, Oregon, where the Royals compete in the 2A-2 Metro East Conference. The clean sweep was a confident showing for Portland Christian, which entered the match at 9-5 and moved to 10-5 with the victory. The win came against a fellow small-school program in East Linn Christian, giving the Royals a chance to sharpen their game outside of conference play. Non-league matchups late in the season serve an important purpose, helping teams build momentum and work through lineup decisions before the postseason push begins. A three-set sweep keeps energy high and minimizes wear on key players, both valuable things as the calendar turns toward playoff time. Portland Christian will look to carry this momentum forward as it prepares for its next challenge and continues building toward a strong finish to the 2026 fall season.
