Portland Adventist Cougars Boys Soccer 5-2 Corbett
Portland Adventist Academy's boys soccer team kept its unbeaten run alive Tuesday, defeating Corbett 5-2 in a Lewis & Clark League (3A) home match in Portland, Oregon. The Pioneers controlled much of the contest, building a commanding lead before Corbett could make things interesting in the second half. The five-goal output was a strong team effort that showed Portland Adventist's ability to generate consistent attacking pressure against league opponents. Corbett managed two goals, providing a reminder that no Lewis & Clark League contest comes easy, but the Pioneers answered the challenge without losing stride. With the win, Portland Adventist moves to 6-0-1 overall and a perfect 3-0 in conference play, firmly establishing themselves as one of the teams to watch in the 3A classification this fall. The Pioneers have yet to lose a match this season, a mark that speaks to their defensive solidity and offensive efficiency. Portland Adventist will look to keep the momentum rolling as the second half of the league schedule approaches.
