Gladstone Gladiators Football 24-51 Philomath

Philomath handed Gladstone a 51-24 defeat in Tri-Valley Conference (4A) football Thursday night in Gladstone, Oregon, extending the Gladstones' difficult fall to 0-7 overall and 0-3 in league play. The Warriors came in with momentum and showed it early, building a lead that the Gladstones were unable to overcome despite putting 24 points on the board themselves. Scoring in a game of this nature signals that there are pieces in place offensively, and the Gladstones will look to build on that production as the season winds toward its final stretch. The margin was wide, but the home team's ability to find the end zone multiple times gives the coaching staff something to work with heading into the final weeks of the regular season. Gladstone returns to action next week with a chance to close the gap in the conference standings and carry some late-season momentum into the postseason picture. The Gladstones will look to pick up their first win of 2026.
