Mountainside Mavericks Girls Volleyball 3-0 Barlow

Mountainside volleyball handed Barlow a clean sweep Wednesday night, winning 3-0 in a non-league home matchup at the Beaverton, Oregon school. The Mavericks, who compete in the 6A-2 Metro League, controlled all three sets to pick up a convincing victory on their home floor. The win moves Mountainside to 9-6 on the season, a welcome boost as the program looks to build momentum heading into the final stretch of the fall schedule. Sweeping a set in volleyball is never automatic, and doing it against a program like Barlow speaks to the focus and execution Mountainside brought from the opening serve. With no set dropped across the match, the Mavericks showed they can impose their will when the energy is right at home. The attention now turns to upcoming league play, where Mountainside will look to carry this confidence forward and continue climbing toward postseason contention in the 6A Metro bracket.
