Franklin Lightning Football 6-48 Mountainside

Mountainside handed Franklin a lopsided defeat Friday night, winning 48-6 in a non-league football game played at Franklin High School in Portland, Oregon. The Quakers were overmatched throughout, unable to generate consistent offense or slow down a Mountainside attack that pulled away decisively. Franklin's lone score offered little in the way of momentum against a Mountainside squad that controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.
