Mountainside Mavericks Boys Soccer 0-6 Jesuit

Jesuit handed Mountainside a 6-0 defeat in Metro League (6A) boys soccer Thursday evening, a tough road result for the Mavericks of Beaverton, Oregon. The Crusaders controlled the match from the opening whistle, piling up six goals and holding Mountainside scoreless through the full ninety minutes. It was a difficult night for the Mavericks in every phase of the game, as Jesuit's attacking pressure proved relentless and gave the Mountainside defense little chance to settle. The loss drops Mountainside to 5-3-3 overall and 0-2 in conference play, putting the Mavericks in a challenging spot as the Metro League schedule tightens. With league standings beginning to take shape, Mountainside will need to regroup quickly and find their form ahead of upcoming conference matches. The Mavericks return home to Beaverton looking to bounce back and put points on the board where they can still make a meaningful run in the Metro League standings.
