Molalla Indians Girls Volleyball 2-1 South Umpqua

A hard-fought road trip paid off for Molalla volleyball Saturday, as the Indians defeated South Umpqua 2-1 in a non-league matchup played in South Umpqua. The victory lifts Molalla, based in Molalla, Oregon and competing in the Tri-Valley Conference (4A), to a 3-2 record on the young season.
Facing a three-set battle away from home, the Indians showed enough composure to close out the Lancers and secure a result that should build confidence heading deeper into the fall schedule. Winning a tight road match against a non-league opponent is exactly the kind of experience a young squad can lean on when league play intensifies.
With the win, Molalla now sits at 3-2 overall and appears to be finding its footing at just the right time. The Indians will look to carry that road resilience back home as Tri-Valley Conference competition begins to take center stage in the coming weeks.
