Molalla Indians Boys Soccer 1-4 Madras

Madras handed Molalla a 4-1 defeat in boys soccer Tuesday, dropping the Indians to 6-7-2 on the season in 4A-2 Tri-Valley Conference action. Molalla, Oregon's program made the trip to Madras looking to build on a competitive stretch, but the host Hawks proved too strong, pulling away with a four-goal performance. The Indians managed just one goal in response, unable to find the consistency needed to keep pace on the road. The result pushes Molalla's conference record to 3-5, a tough position as the season winds toward its final stages. The Indians entered the contest at 6-6-2, carrying some momentum from earlier in the fall, but Tuesday's road environment presented challenges the squad couldn't fully overcome. With limited time remaining on the schedule, Molalla will need to regroup quickly and find its form to close the season on a strong note. The Indians' next opportunity comes as they look to bounce back and protect their standing in the Tri-Valley standings.
