Milwaukie Mustangs Football 64-0 Putnam

A dominant Friday night in Milwaukie, Oregon, saw the Mustangs football team dismantle Putnam 64-0 in Northwest Oregon Conference (5A) league play, turning in one of their most complete performances of the fall season. The shutout win moves Milwaukie to 3-4 overall and 2-1 in conference, a meaningful jump for a team that entered the evening at 2-4 and very much in need of momentum in the back half of the schedule. The 64-point margin left no doubt from wire to wire, as the Mustangs controlled all three phases and kept Putnam off the scoreboard entirely. A 64-point outburst is the kind of statement that can shift a team's confidence heading into the stretch run, and Milwaukie will look to build on this result as conference standings tighten. The Mustangs return to action next week with a chance to push above the .500 mark and strengthen their postseason positioning in the Northwest Oregon Conference.
