Milwaukie Mustangs Boys Soccer 1-4 Westside Christian

Westside Christian handed Milwaukie a 4-1 defeat in boys soccer Saturday, as the Mustangs struggled away from home in this non-league road matchup. Milwaukie, based in Milwaukie, Oregon, and competing in the Northwest Oregon Conference (5A), found little rhythm against a sharp Westside Christian side that controlled much of the afternoon. The Eagles built a commanding advantage before Milwaukie managed to get on the board, but the late consolation goal was not enough to shift the tide. The loss drops Milwaukie to 1-7-1 on the season, a tough stretch that the program will need to work through as league play remains the priority. Road contests against non-league opponents can serve as valuable learning moments, and the coaching staff will look to draw lessons from this performance heading into the week. Milwaukie returns to action next week with an opportunity to build momentum before the Northwest Oregon Conference schedule intensifies down the stretch.
