McMinnville Grizzlies Girls Soccer 1-0 Glencoe

A single goal was all McMinnville needed Thursday night, as the Grizzlies shut out Glencoe 1-0 in a Pacific Conference (6A) girls soccer match played in McMinnville, Oregon. The clean sheet preserved McMinnville's unblemished record and moved them to 11-0-1 on the season and 3-0 in conference play. Glencoe came in as a capable opponent, making the one-goal margin a hard-earned result rather than a comfortable cruise. McMinnville's defense was the story of the evening, holding firm whenever Glencoe pushed forward and giving the goalkeeper little drama in the closing minutes. The Grizzlies have now gone the entire fall without a loss, a stretch that speaks to both their defensive discipline and their ability to grind out results when the attacking chances are limited. With the regular season entering its final stretch, McMinnville will look to protect that unbeaten run and solidify their standing at the top of the Pacific Conference heading into the postseason.
